Privacy Policy

01 Overview

Stridely is developed and maintained by Arc Solutions, a solo indie studio. This policy explains what data Stridely accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

The short version: Stridely is privacy-first by design. Your training data is processed on your device. We do not sell your data, run ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

02 Data We Access

Stridely accesses the following categories of data depending on the integrations you enable:

Stridely's Strava connection is read-only. We never post to your Strava feed, modify activities, or write data back to any connected service.

03 How We Use Your Data

Data accessed by Stridely is used solely to provide coaching analysis and app functionality:

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core app experience.

04 On-Device Processing

Stridely's coaching engine runs entirely on your device. Your activity data, heart rate, and health metrics are never transmitted to Arc Solutions servers or any third-party AI service unless you explicitly opt in via BYOK (see Section 6).

Strava data is fetched directly from Strava's API to your device. Arc Solutions does not operate a backend that stores or processes your training data.

Stridely integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Arc Solutions does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for commercial purposes.

06 Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Stridely offers an optional feature that lets you connect your own Claude (Anthropic) or Gemini (Google) API key to enhance coaching responses.

You can remove your API key at any time from the app settings, which immediately disables all external AI calls.

07 Data Retention

Because Stridely processes data on-device and does not operate a backend, we do not retain your training data on any server.

08 Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days.

09 Children's Privacy

Stridely is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify users via the app or by email if we hold your address.

Continued use of Stridely after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
